Privacy

Hanami is a code review and feedback tool for A+ courses. This page explains what data it handles and why.

What Hanami sees

Hanami acts on your behalf using your A+ account. It can read only what your A+ account can already access: your courses, submissions, and the feedback you give or receive. It never asks for your A+ password.

Your API access token

Signing in exchanges your A+ API access token for a random Hanami session ID. The browser stores only that ID in a secure, HttpOnly cookie. Hanami keeps the A+ token encrypted on the server and revokes the session when you sign out.

What Hanami stores

Review comments, grades, and drafts you create are stored on this course's Hanami server so they persist between sessions and are shared with course staff. Grades are submitted back to A+ when you post them.

Questions

Your data is handled by the staff who operate this Hanami service. Contact your course staff for access, correction, or deletion requests.
